These two talented authors have written a truly wonderful, entertaining dragon shifter romance. The plot is full of intriguing & unexpected events. The two main characters are unique & likable and they continue to develop throughout the story to become emotional strong individuals. This book truly deserves 10 âï¸â€˜S. Noah Harris and Rowen Porter come together and give us a story that has a new take on a dragons 🉠and their mates. Jaryn is a sea serpent shifter. Born with a rare genetic disorder that has left him scent blind and his serpent without any color to his scales, he feels that nobody would want someone who is defective like him. When circumstances find Jaryn being the maid for the royal dragon family, he is shocked to learn he would be the private maid to the very handsome prince himself. Rhys is an ancient dragon. One who’s family is royalty. Rhys is expected to take over the throne, but first he must find a mate. After waiting centuries for his fated mate to come along, Rhys is surprised by the strong feelings his new maid has brought out in him. As time passes the attraction between these two grows. Rhys can smell his fated mate, but why can’t Jaryn smell him back? Could fate be mistaken? This story blends together two very different shifters and shows us that how we see ourselves isn’t how everyone else may see us. Truly a magnificent book by these two authors. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
The book was awesom! I gave it 5 star so easily! Loved every page of it, and the characters were amazing too!And how cool it was that Jaryn was a sea serpent and Rhys a dragon?! Coolest idea ever!I loved Jaryn and Rhys too, and their relationship was so cute. Loved reading about their love, and the whole mate thing was so good! And the perfect thing? They were shifting into their animal form often. That scene was my favorite when Rhys shifted into dragon and he flew with Jaryn and Delia, it was so lovely♥As I said, the story was good and the characters were changing into their better form, but i hate one thing in books- stupid characters! And at the end of the book we had some. The drama was a bit to much, and i hated that after they confessed the mate thing between them, the relationship stopped and we had only a few cute and lovely scenes. But the end was good! So good! Awww♥After all, it was a really good book, i loved it and recommend it! And i need more book like this! More lovely dragons♥
ðŸ‘🲠4.5 🌟 starsI like this new direction in Noah Harris's writing, with a move to🉠Dragon shifters and a gentle protagonist who takes some serious convincing to accept that he is worthy of a top-rate mate. The 🰠palace intrigue gave some extra bite to the plot; new grief and protective instincts for his teenage sister also gave Jaryn a full-blown personality that was an intriguing contrast to powerful and confident 👑Prince Rhys. There's some limited heat in this one, but it's on the simmer throughout the story and boils over at an appropriate point. The latter chapters were thrilling, filled with suspense and action, and the finale hospital scene upbeat and heartwarming. 😊Harris is one of my principal go-to writers in paranormal and MM romance. His subject matter and plot lines are so varied; I can't imagine how he thinks them all up! This story is a great addition to his catalogue of MM romances.I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.
